He had all his tertiary schooling in the United Kingdom, traveled to Ireland for his Higher School Certificate immediately after finishing from Igbobi college in 1979, immediately proceeded to Edinburgh for his first degree Heriot-Watt University (***smiles****I also did my MBA at HWU’s Business School in Edinburgh), before finally settling at Imperial College for his Msc which he completed in 1986. 7 straight years of schooling before starting work.
He spent more than 20 years in Shell
He later moved to BG Nigeria as President, before partnering with other oil and gas top shots to float First E&P.
While his case is a little different from similar oil and gas top professionals we earlier featured, having worked in 4 different oil companies within the sector, his profile still buttresses one of the points I make here: people hardly leave oil and gas for another sector!
He also underwent some leadership course in Wharton Business School.
