Dear Jarus,
Thanks for the good tidings your blogsite has been dishing out. I must confess that they are all life changing articles.
But I am concerned about life after school considering what Nigeria labour maket has turned to in this era. My inquiry is much like an advice from an experienced individual like you. I would like to know the kind of investments I can pick on with my hard earned savings (20k) since January.
I have thought of investment banking but it has little returns; although I am n0t looking for a lottery-kind of returns. I just need a kind of investment to make ends meet as a fresh graduate.
Thanks and looking forward to your reply.
Charles

Dear Charles,
I passed this to JarusHub investment specialist:
(Over 20 years investing experience in Nigeria’s financial markets)
I salute the effort and discipline made by a student to save N20,000. The sum may not be much, but the mindset should be commended.
I am very sorry, I do not know of the type of investment you can make with N20,000 that can be used to make ends meet. I will advice you to invest part of the money on your financial education and good books that can help you to develop your innate skills, motivate you and open your eyes to possibilities in the midst of limitations and difficulties.
What you need now is a job, or a skill that can generate sustainable cash flow of income, part of your cash flow can now be invested on a regular basis.
Emmanuel
Anyone has any other advice for him?

Best advice you can ever get.
Provided you have the time, you can start recharge card or photocopy business in your hostel. You can get a second hand copier for 15k (small ones) and get paper, stapler and other materials with the remaining 5k.

you could go into selling of books, some lectures produce textbooks, and recommend some, we have inspirational books that student love to read. some of this books are sold at rate of 500 to 700 at market price i.e selling price and cost price should give you a gain of atleast 200. so with no overhead cost and requirement of working capital u cud start that with abt 30 books.
