Vacancy: Executive Assistant to Jarus

Goldman Jarus Limited is a company registered in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), and run by a very versatile young Nigerian by the moniker Jarus. It is the umbrella body of all Jarus concerns.

As his activities continue to expand, it has become obvious that he will no longer be able to run all of them at the same time. He therefore needs an Assistant to handle the operational aspects of his engagements, so that he could face some other things, especially his 8-5 job.

THE ROLE

Basically to coordinate Jarus concerns, which are:

Jarushub Career Portal

  • Researching about personalities to be featured on Jarushub
  • Conducting physical interviews
  • Maintaining and updating the Jarushub Facebook page
  • Doing the ground works for Jarushub Offline conferences
  • Maintaining the portal

Jarus Associates

This is the consultancy division of Goldman Jarus Limited. The EA will:

  • Source for clients
  • Coordinate the marketers
  • Maintain and regularly update the Jarus Associates Facebook page

MAS Jewelry and Clothes

This is the Fashion Division of Golden Jarus Limited, run by Mrs. Jarus. The EA will only be responsibility for:

  • Promoting the business online
  • Maintaining the business’ Facebook page
  • Attending to customer email queries
  • Not responsible for delivery

Jarus Executive Car Hire Services

  • This is still in the works, but the EA will be expected to manage the accounts of this concern when it comes to fruition, hopefully next year.

THE PERSON

  • Must be an internet freak, should enjoy working on the internet
  • Must be able to write good English
  • Must be below 28 years
  • Bsc, HND or smart ND holders can apply
  • Course of study doesn’t matter, but financial literary is an added advantage
  • Ability to drive may also be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Jarus’ activities may also be helpful

PERSONALITY QUALITIES

  • Dependable
  • Loyal
  • Should share Jarus’ long-term vision

OTHER INFORMATION

  • The job is full time, and it may involve some mobility
  • There will be a physical office space which is being set up now

 PAY

  • Not being a profitable venture yet, the pay is not so attractive, but if you share his vision, you can both grow together, and move from employee to partner
  • The pay is made up of two parts: the fixed part is N25,000, while the variable part is tied to performance
  • The office is being set up at Ajah side of Lagos, so applicants should consider transport costs before signifying interest
  • There are a number of unstructured benefits in kind, like free lunch.
