Top 10 Consulting Firms – 2021
Vault, the highly respected American careers website, has published the 2021 edition of its Top 50 consulting firms in the world.
While the usual suspects, the MBB (McKinsey, Bain and Boston Consulting Group) topped the list as usual, McKinsey, which usually takes the top slot, was displaced in the latest ranking.
Vault uses the following criteria, derived from a survey of their employees to do the annual ranking:
30 percent prestige
15 percent firm culture
15 percent satisfaction
10 percent compensation
10 percent work/life balance
10 percent level of challenge
5 percent overall business outlook
5 percent promotion policies
Here are the Top 10 for 2021
- Bain & Company
- Boston Consulting Group
- McKinsey & Company
- Booz Allen Hamilton
- EY-Parthenon
- Oliver Wyman
- ClearView Healthcare Partners
- Deloitte Consulting LLP
- PwC Advisory/Strategy&
- Putnam Associates
In addition to the MBB, all but but one Big 4 global professional services firms also made the Top 10. The only exception is KPMG which came 16th.
