Tips on Lecturing Job Interview?

I want to commend you for the good work you and your team are doing. My prayer for you is that God will keep you all. I write to seek for an information from you. I will like if you did not post my identity with this mail on your blog.

I write to ask for likely questions, the salary scale and other necessary information in the interview for one of the old privately owned universities in Ogun State.

Dear Brother,

I have never attended an interview for a lecturing job, neither do I have close friends who have. But the general rules of interview should still work, in addition to mastery of the subject/course/department you are interviewing for.

Do we have any reader here that has more precise tips based on experience? Please volunteer the info.  Over to you guys, help a brother.

    The salary scale, just like every other job depends on the level of entry.Generally, the salary scale for Academic staffs of Public Universities in Nigeria is CONUASS 1-7, where 1 is for Graduate Assistant and 7 for Professors and it ranges from 105K for Graduate Assistant to about 550K per month for Profs..

    Just show a good practical understanding of your area of specialization and also your ability to stick to facts especially when you are certain of what you know may also be tested. Just my little contribution.

    Know your subject very well. Master the elementary and basic things. Be composed and confident. Annual salary 1.3 for COANUSS 1/2 but with deductions like tax, pension etc

    I have a B.Sc in Accounting and am contemplating on whether to go for M.Sc in Accounting, Economics or Taxation. am really confused. please advise me taking into consideration the trend of the economy.
