Sir, I am a Distance Learning Institute (DLI) student studying economics and writing ICAN at the same time. The problem is, prior to my admission I was not informed that faculty of DLI would be included in the certificate, I am in 200 level now, but I have been advised to take JAMB again, so that the DLI thing would not hinder me from getting a job. I am confused sir. I am on first class at DLI, and am 22, I don’t know what to do.
I will advise you take the advice by taking JAMB. Distance Learning appearing in your certificate can affect your job search. You’re in 200 level, you hav enot gone too far.

Please can you help me research on the prospects of a graduate of Industrial chemistry in Nigeria in terms of job opportunities and salary. Please help before I make the decision!
There is nothing wrong with Industrial Chemistry as a course. It is hardly about the course but about you. And at this stage, don’t focus on salary. Salary is hardly by the course you studied.

BIOLOGY C5
AGRICULTURE B3
I think you can. English, Literature and Government are the most important courses for admission into Law faculty, and I can see you have credit passes in them (and more than 5 credit passes overall). I advise you to check the UTME brochure to be 100% sure.

He’s inclined to studying Computer Science, but I’m thinking of advising him to go for an Engineering course.
Interesting result there. Not sure I have ever seen a “C-parallel” result before.
I’m also inclined to advising him to go for Computer Science for two reasons.
1, That’s his preference. His passion will be useful in driving him.
2, Most students that do well in Engineering courses had better O’level result in Physics and Mathematics in particular. C6 in Physics and Mathematics does not look like a great foundation for Engineering. That doesn’t look to me like a result of someone that will make 2.1 in an Engineering course, except he steps up in the Varsity (and it is very possible). Computer Science for me.
