I earlier published on this platform that CBN governor, Lamido Sanusi, will be teaching in a university in France at the expiration of his tenure in June next year. I got the information from a close mutual friend, and tried to reach SLS himself yesternight to confirm before publishing the story.
I was however able to reach him this morning and he refuted the claim.
I regret the misleading information. I will be pulling down teh earlier publication and think other publications that republished the earlier story should also consider pulling down the story or publishing this rejoinder.
Personally, I still think university is the best place for SLS, as he is more fit as a scholar from an ivory tower than anywhere else. I hope the Kano prince will consider that.
Once again the error is regretted.

Apology accepted, but I guess SLS is trying to be diplomatic. Ivory tower is where he belongs.
