RELEVANT SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE FOR A CHEMICAL ENGINEERING ASPIRANT
Good day Mr. Jarus,
Thank you for setting up an educative blog like JarusHub and am pleased to be richly blessed by the information being dispensed here. I am presently studying Industrial Chemistry with a strong desire for Chemical Engineering, which I plan to do in my Masters.
Nevertheless, I want to start learning some Chemical Engineering softwares before I finish my undergraduate study. Please which ones can I lay my hands on; especially the ones that affect the Nigerian Industry. Would appreciate if my request can be directed to Mr. Michael Taiwo.
Thanks a lot.

Most Chemical Engineering software are licensed, meaning that you can only get the real copy from a University or an engineering company. If you get one from say “computer village” in Lagos, it will most likely be an ersatz copy with very limited functionality. The two software I will recommend are HYSYS and MATLAB. HYSYS is for process simulation and MATLAB is more generally applicable to anything computing.
