JARUSHUB CAREER ACADEMY (JCA 4) GRADUATE & PROFESSIONAL CLASSES – MARCH 26

JCA is a 5-weekend course where employability and career management skills are taught. It is the first of its kind in Nigeria and attracts top professionals from top companies in Nigeria as facilitators.

The course is in two categories:

A, JCA GRADUATE CLASS (JCA GC): This is for students, corps members and fresh graduates who are still unemployed or underemployed. This class is essentially focusing on EMPLOYABILITY.

B, JCA PROFESSIONAL CLASS (JCA PC): This is for people that are already working but wish to improve their careers. Essentially, the goal here is CAREER ADVANCEMENT.

We have so far done two streams, JCA 1 & JCA 2, and the attendees have remained grateful for such impactful programme.

The enrollees went through 4 weekends of intensive coaching on the following subjects:

        GRADUATE CLASS

CV & Job Hunting – CV Building lesson; Conventional & Unconventional job application methods. Test formats of top companies in Nigeria. Practical mock tests in class.

Networking – The importance of networking and how to build network, with real life examples.

Know the Industries – Selected industries in Nigeria and how to get job in them. Among the industries  extensively discussed were Oil & Gas, Investment Banking, Consulting, Professional services/auditing firms, banking/financial services, public sector, engineering services, etc.

Interview – Everything about interview. How to go about acing job interviews. Practical sessions and mock interviews in class.

Meet the Executive – Lunch or Dinner with an invited top professional in Nigeria who shared with the class his career experience as a fresh graduate.

PROFESSIONAL CLASS

Career goal – Discussions on career goals & life plans

Advance networking skills; office politics and sundry workplace issues

Career movement techniques – Different routes to career advancement. Internal promotion vs External offer; Horizontal vs Vertical movements

Case studies – Some Nigerian and global executives and the path to their career success.

An evening with the Executive – An outdoor event where the set meets a top executive from Corporate Nigeria to discuss his career and life and lessons enrollees can learn.

Registration has commenced for the third stream of JarusHub Career Academy (JCA 3)

DATE: Class commences  Sunday March 27, 2016

TIME: Graduate Class  2-4pm Professional Class 4-6pm for 5 Sundays.

FEE

N15,000 for Graduate Class (20% discount i.e N12,000 if payment is done before 12 February, 2016)

N20,000 for Professional Class (20% discount i.e N16,000 if payment is done before 12 February, 2016)

Light refreshments shall be provided at each class, while the week 5 event will take place at a choice restaurant in Victoria Island.

There are spaces for only 15 enrollees for this set.

OTHER ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

50% discount for any other JarusHub product  a participant wants to enroll for. For example, CV review service can be offered at N1,500 for interested enrollees, while the regular price goes for N3,000. Also, Jarus’ book, The Road to Victoria Island, will sell for N1,000, instead of regular market price of N2,000, for JCA enrollees.

This is also an opportunity to network as CVs of participants will be kept in our database in case relevant job opportunities come to our knowledge.
