Mr Dada,You do not need to trouble yourself so much on professional exams. We have lots of them: PHR, CIPD, CIPM e.t.c. But from your background and for easy access to the Nigerian market, go and enroll for the CIPM exam immediately. Visit here: http://www.cipmnigeria.org/Membership/ MembershipbyExamination.aspx for details on how to go about it. After this you will be better equipped to know which one to take next. After enrolling, you automatically become a student member, and as a student member you can begin to try your luck for HR related roles. Otherwise seek internship for the role.As per the prospects and opportunities, in all sincerity competition is everywhere, the onus now lies on you standing out amongst the lot by developing yourself.I wish you the very best, brother.Kola

May I add that you have chosen a great career path. Just like Kola said, enroll for CIPM for a start and try attending HR seminars and workshops to broaden your HR knowledge. Lastly, start thinking of the “part” of HR you would like to focus on e.g. Huamn cpaitla, compensation and benefit, staffing and placement etc…all the best
