PROFESSIONAL EXAMS OR FOREIGN MASTERS: DILEMMA OF AN ACCOUNTING GRADUATE
Dear Jarus,
My name is Faruk. I am a fresh Accounting Graduate(2.1). I’m 23 years old. I will be going for NYSC this year. I know the next thing after graduation should be getting chartered to become a chartered accountant, but I’m torn between ICAN and ACCA. Moreso, my uncle wants to send me abroad to further my studies and try my luck in academia. I’m so confused here because I want both but don’t know which should come first. Plus I am afraid my uncle’s offer may expire if I don’t reply at the appropriate time.
Please I need your suggestion.

Pls take the offer to go abroad and study, especially as your uncle is ready to sponsor you.
Between ICAN and ACCA, either is fine. You may settle for ACCA as it has wider acceptability.
