Dear Jarushubbers,
To reward your loyalty to this blog and in line with my belief that readers keep writers writing , I have decided to host for the first time a face-to-face session with my readers. It will continue from time to time, anywhere and anytime I am chanced, by God’s grace.
I will be in Offa, Kwara state (oh, you already knew from my articles that I’m from this place) next week by God’s grace. I have decided to spend 2 hours with 10 readers. I know that a good number of my readers are from or live in this community.
DATE: Friday, August 9, 2013
VENUE: Goodies Patio, Avalon Road, Offa, Kwara State
TIME: 5-7 pm
SUBJECT: Take me on on anything I have written on this blog, or within this blog’s theme (career, mentorship and political economy) in general. Strictly that please, no extraneous subject.
DRESS CODE: Of course, casual
ADMISSION: Free, but I have spaces for just 10 people, and they must be pre-registered. To register, subscribe (if you haven’t already) to Jarushub (look for where I have ‘subscribe by email’ on this blog and register with your email address), then send an email to jarushub@gmail.com with your name, phone number, favourite article on Jarushub, and if you like, your academic background. I will then send invite to the 10 people I settle for, likely to be guided by first-registered-first-invited basis.
The interactions will take place over a platter of pizza and some ice cream at my cost.
See you guys there!!!
Jarus
PS: Beginning next year by God’s grace, Jarushub will be organizing annual career and mentorship seminar in Lagos with top CEOs and other executives as resource persons. You may be listening directly to people like Mr. Niyi Yusuf, CEO of Accenture Nigeria and others. Stay close to the hub.
