If you need a job, you must make sure to not be annoying or troublesome to the professional contact. One also needs to follow up after an interview, but sending hundreds or thousands of emails is not a smart thing to do. So how do you make sure to do a follow up without being annoying? Stay tuned for we have the ways that you should make use of to follow up with the hiring manager or the sales lead. Be pleasantly persistent instead of irritating the other party.

Being too reactive

Some people take it personally when there is no reply from the other party when they try to follow up. Try not to get too stressed or depressed, and curb your emotions. Do not take out your feelings in an email about the other party not responding on time or on being ignored. Always maintain a polite tone while replying to an email. Make sure that they know about your friendly nature as well as the respect you show to the busy routine of your contacts.

Being persistent does not mean every time
If you send a follow up email each day, then it does not reflect your passion, but that you do not have respect for the other person’s time. Make sure to wait at least for a week before you start to follow up. You may appear to be pushy if you do not wait for a week to pass. Hence, being persistence does not in any way to keep nagging the other person about the job.

ROAD TO VI PRINT2

Asking straightaway about the botheration
After sending a follow up email, even then if you do not get a reply, a better way would be ask the other party if it would be better to stop following up with them or not. You would certainly not want to waste you and somebody else’s time. Many people would give you an honest reply as they do not even want to waste somebody’s energy and time; hence, all you have to do is just be straightforward.

Reaching out in a good way
If you reach out the interviewer in a positive way then chances are that you will be selected for the job. Make sure to know some crucial information about the company that you may include in your follow up email so that the interviewers may be interested in giving you a chance. If you are creative in your follow up, then it would certainly go a long way.

Changing up the time slot and the email

If all your efforts to connect with the other party fail, then make sure to change up the approach. Instead of sending the same email at the same time, make sure to switch your timings each time. It all depends on catching the people at the right time so that they respond to you the way you wanted. Instead of going for a morning follow up, try following up in the evening.

However, if you are asked not to follow up then you should stop right there and then. Keep trying until and unless you are asked not to do so.
