Jarushub Career & Mentorship Class on September 21
Jarushub is one of Nigeria’s leading online platforms with primary focus on career and mentorship. The platform has continued to make invaluable contribution to the raising of a generation of vastly informed Nigerians. With tens of thousands of visitors, Jarushub has continued to shape the life of many young Nigerians, for good. The efforts of the founder and contributors have been widely commended by teeming followers and watchers of the platform, as well as independent assessors.
In line with the vision of the founder, Jarushub is going a step further to organize its first offline career conference. We have brought together an array of impactful speakers, five of Nigeria’s most talented professionals, to discuss topical career and mentorship issues with young Nigerians.

SPEAKERS
1, Mr. Obafemi Bamidele, CFA (Formerly with Renaissance Capital)
Mr. Bamidele, currrently with one of Nigeria’s biggest multi-national energy giants, is one of the youngest CFA charterholders in Nigeria. He holds a First Class degree in Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Master’s degree in Operational Research from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is a chartered accountant (winning first prize in both ICAN and ACCA in Nigeria) and a chartered stockbroker. He has worked in various organizations in Nigeria including Renaissance Capital, a multinational investment banking outfit.
2, Mr. Niyi Yusuf (CEO, Accenture Nigeria)
Mr. Yusuf took over from Mrs. Omobola Johnson (now Federal Minister for ICT) in 2010 as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian office of Accenture, one of the world’s most respected management consulting firms. Prior to his ascension to the position, he was the Senior Executive responsible for the Technology Group in the company. A graduate of Computer Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Mr. Yusuf is highly respected in Nigeria’s CEO circle.
3, Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi, FCA (CEO, Proshare)
Mr. Awoyemi is the Founder and CEO of Proshare Nigeria Limited, the nation’s niche financial information and market intelligence service since 2006. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. He became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2005. He is also a Fellow, Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers, and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Taxation of Nigeria, Institute of Management Consultants, Nigerian Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors.
He has contributed immensely to, and has been actively involved in many initiatives, associations, academia and commercial activities including roles as a member of the Membership, Publicity & Publication Committees of the NBCC; Chairman Strategy Committee of the West African Bankers Association. Nigeria, Independent Board Member, Northwards Housing, Manchester City Council ALMO, UK. He was at various times a member of the editorial board of the Banking Journal of the CIBN, Financial Standard, LBS Alumni Magazine; and Founding Editorial Board Chairman of Brandfaces. Until recently, he was the Advisor/Consultant to the House Committee on Capital Markets and Other Institutions.
Mr. Awoyemi is a facilitator at many management retreats, personal finance empowerment training and knowledge sharing sessions of blue chip firms, NGO’s and professional associations. He is a winner of numerous awards locally and internationally.
4, Mr. Akeem Oyewale, FCA (Director, Equities Brokerage, Standard Bank)
Mr. Oyewale is currently the Group Head, Global Market Sales at StanbicIBTC Group and Director, Equities Brokerage at Standard Bank Group. He was formerly the CEO of StanbicIBTC Asset Management Limited and StanbicIBTC Stockbrokers Limited. He is a fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (CIS). He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He had his first degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, where he won the faculty first prize in 1998. He also holds an MBA from the Manchester Business School, England. Mr. Oyewale is a highly experienced investment banker and stockbroker.
5, Mr. Simon Kolawole (Former Editor, Thisday)
Mr. Kolawole, the immediate past editor of Nigeria’s most influential newspaper, Thisday, and Founder of Cable Newspaper, an online news portal that is about to be launched, is one of Nigeria’s most respected newspaper columnists. Mr. Kolawole was in 2009 named one of Africa’s Next Generation of Leaders by The Banker, a publication of the Financial Times. He is also a 2010 Mo Ibrahim Governance for Development Fellow. Kolawole holds a BSc in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and an MA in Governance and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. Mr. Kolawole is highly respected for his consistent views on Nigeria’s social issues and offering of practicable solutions to the nation’s problems. His humility has also endeared him to millions of Nigerians.
6, Mr. Tope Fasua, FCA (CEO, Global Analytics)
Mr. Fasua is the Chief Executive Officer of Global Analytics Consulting Limited. Prior to setting up Global Analytics, he has worked in top Nigerians banks, including Citizens Bank, Standard Trust Bank and Equitorial Trust Bank, where re resigned in 2005 as Regional Director/Principal Manager (Abuja), after more than thirteen years experience in the banking sector. Fasua holds a first degree in economics from Ondo State University and Master’s degree in Financial Markets & Derivatives from the London Metropolitan University. He also attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education Course on Driving Corporate Performance (2008).
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Fasua is a well respected economic analyst that features on policy analysis shows on Nigerian TV channels. He is also a columnist with Daily Trust newspaper.
7, Mr. Robert Ikazoboh (CEO, Dragnet Solutions)
Mr. Ikhazoboh, a former Commissioner in Edo State, is the Chief Executive Officer of Dragnet Solutions Limited, Nigeria’s leading recruitment agency. Dragnet Solutions are one of Nigeria’s biggest recruiters well known to many job seekers in Nigeria and beyond. They handle recruitment exercise for top brands like Chevron, Total, MTN, Nestle, Skye Bank, Lafarge, to mention but a few.
Mr. Ikhazoboh has worked in big organizations like Shell Petroleum Development Company, NIB/Citibank, Agusto & Co. Financial Analysts, SBC Warburg (Investment Bankers – UK). He has extensive experience covering Administration, IT Projects, HR, Banking, Logistics and Consulting. He has extensive projects experience with Shell Petroleum where he won awards for projects as follows: HR Systems and Process harmonization; Manpower Review and Business Re-organisation project; EP Resourcing 2000. He has his bachelor and master’s degrees in economics from United Kingdom. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
