Got a job with Skye Bank, but I want to practise Chemical Engineering that I studied
I have piled up First Bank shares dividend, how will I claim them? I got Japaul shares likes 6 years ago, I have their shares certificate but I have not received their dividened for once, how do I go about it? How do I trade with the shares I have.
I just got an offer into Skye bank but I plan to practise what I study( Chemical Engineering) later. What do you think I can do?
Thanks and kind regards.

I passed your investment questions to Jarushub investment columnist, Mr. Emmanuel Ewumi:
(Over 20 years investing experience in Nigeria’s financial markets)
Take your stale First bank dividend warrants to First Registrars Iganmu Lagos, or any of their branches nationwide for dividend revalidation. I will also advise you to sign-up for e-dividend so that your dividends can be credited directly into your bank account. You can trade in your shares once you open a stockbroking account with one of the registered stockbrokers in Nigeria.
My advice: a bird in hand is better than two in the bush; so just make do with your Skye Bank job, while you continue to be alert to job opportunities in chemical engineering. All the best.
