Our client, Dangote Industries Limited, is a leading pan-African, diversified industrial group that is rapidly expanding its sectorial and international footprint – with stakes in food & agro-processing, cement, fertiliser, power, energy, oil refining and petrochemicals. The Group has enjoyed significant growth over the years and accordingly is currently undertaking the
construction of the world’s largest Single-Train Petroleum Refinery in Lagos, Nigeria.

In line with its growth aspirations, the Group is seeking to appoint a top-of-the-class individual with the requisite skills and experience to fill the position of the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (GCHRO).

Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the Group CHRO will drive the definition and implementation of HR strategies to identify, attract, select, hire, and retain the best talents to meet the manpower needs of the Group. The role will oversee and ensure efficient management of human capital to build a highly skilled, motivated and engaged workforce to support the achievement of the Group’s strategic objectives.

About You

You will be a seasoned and innovative HR Professional with extensive  experience at an international senior leadership level. You are in possession of a qualification in a HR-related discipline or certification in HR Management.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess proven record of driving change management in complex environments. You will possess gravitas and exceptional leadership & people management skills, including the ability to manage cross-cultural teams effectively.
